Departing the hotel
We quickly rejoined US-30 (the Lincoln Highway) for the run to Joliet.
It was odd to be back in a part of the country were finding a port-o-let was necessary. The last 30 or so miles into Joliet were harrowing – no shoulder, terrible pavement and heavy traffic. |
