August 6 - 7, 2005

This year we’re again riding our bicycles to raise money for cancer research and care. We’re riding the 192-mile Pan-Massachusetts Challenge to raise money for the Jimmy Fund, and its efforts for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber was ranked #4 nationally for cancer care by US News and World Report in July, 2004, and is four-star ranked by Charity Navigator for its efficiency with your contributions.

This is our sixth PMC and the 26th annual PMC. Between us we’ve raised over $90,000 in support of the Jimmy Fund with our prior rides. We continue to believe that the PMC is a great charity fund-raiser, and that the Jimmy Fund is most worthy of your support.

Prior Years’ rides:

-       In 2000 and 2001 we rode the official PMC route, 192 miles from Sturbridge MA to Provincetown MA over two days.

-       In 2002 and 2003 we added an extra day and 100 miles by starting from the MA/NY state line.

-       In 2004, in celebration of the historic 25th annual PMC, we rode from Cincinnati to join the PMC - a total of 1,054 miles over 11 days! (And no, you don’t want to know about the saddle sores)
