80 Miles from Bourne to Provincetown, MA

About 5:45A, Bourne Bridge:

We're a little later than prior years, allowing natural light to show the pack of PMCers heading up the bridge.

Top of the Service Road:

Carl charged up the hill to this 'summit' and took photos. Here's David angling in to run Carl over.

And here's Mike passing by.

Barnstable County Admin Center Waterstop:

The early stops can be a little congested.

Cape Cod Sea Camps:

As usual, all the campers were at the hedge, cheering us on.

Carl and Mike soak up the campers' cheers (from David's viewpoint on the side of the road).

Mike points at the campers, while David saddles up from the roadside (Carl's perspective over his shoulder).

Nickerson State Park Waterstop:

Carl with his mom Sandy.

Carl and his dad Pete. Sandy and Pete have now volunteered here for four years.

Here's Jack O'Riordan, our continuing inspiration. His mom's Christmas-themed jersey at right is for the 'Reindeer' group that sponsors a Christmas event for the kids undergoing treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Wellfleet:

The usual balloon banner, just before the waterstop.

Mike's tush soaks up the soothing coolness of the ice bench at the Wellfleet school water stop.

Provincetown Inn Finish:

All done, and feeling fine.

Here we are at lunch with Karen Rednor, a Huckleberry and Crack 'o' Dawn rider friend.
